New for 2021, Bauer Goalie has again pushed the boundaries of innovation and technology that goes into a Goalie Glove. The all-new Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Pro Custom Senior Custom Goalie Glove builds off of the highly successful Bauer 2X Pro to bring every goalie the glove they need to perform at their peak.

Pro Custom specifically offers a higher variety of spec options throughout the entire glove along with exclusive zones that offer more color variety compared to the regular Hyperlite Pro Senior Custom.

Starting off with the graphic of the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Glove, the design is a simple yet highly customizable graphic that contains several zones that flow through the pad with a slash like design that runs diagonally through the upper thumb, down to the cuff of the glove. This slash design acts as a visual focal point that any goaltender can base their set off of or blend in with the rest of the graphic.

Moving on to the build of the Vapor Hyperlite Pro, a one piece cuff design gives a naturally large appearance for better visual presentation to the shooter. On the pocket and closure, a 60 degree closure angle allows the goaltender’s hand to sit higher in the glove and provide a full hand closure that feels better than ever. A double-T pocket design creates a wider pocket as opposed to a single-T as seen on the 2X Pro Glove which works much better together with the visual presentation and technology of the glove to create a better experience.

On the backhand for the Hyperlite, returning is the free-flex backhand with Curve Composite technology gives the goaltender the freedom they need to move their hand into any position and reach for pucks no matter the angle.

Internally, several adjustment points allow the goaltender to dial in the exact fit they want to achieve no matter what tightness they prefer. The palm has added Curv and PORON protection both internally and externally to help absorb shock from hard shots. Finally, the internal liner is Bauer’s CATCHGRIP which gives the goalie a confident grip on their glove especially late into games when other liners might start to slip.
