Brand new for 2020, Vaughn has released their next iteration of their padded compression apparel. After hearing consumer feedback, Vaughn has made some key revisions to make the Vaughn Velocity V9 Senior Compression Padded Pant more comfortable and effective than ever.

Starting off with a couple frequently asked questions, this pant is not made to replace any sort of knee pad or other piece of main equipment but rather give additional protection to key areas. This pant does not come with a slot for an addition cup.

Moving on into the specifics of the V9 Padded Compression Pant, the fabric is made to be moisture wicking to keep the goalie cooler during play and will dry up fast. Vented mesh panels also help dissipate heat buildup when wearing these pants to keep the goaltender comfortable. The entire construction of this pant is cut specifically to match the goalie’s specific movements when moving around the crease. Next is Velcro fasteners that will allow the goaltender to hold socks up over their knee pads.

Finally, the padding which is made up of EVA foam which can be seen in the knee and wraps around toward the inner knee, and also at the lower/inner thigh sections which are all key areas where the goaltender may get a stray shot or need extra protection. This padding is placed in pockets and are completely removable so the pants may be washed. They are machine washable.
